  I use these Information to trace occuring errors or to get an overview of my users and which articles are read the most. They are not used for any kind of profiling or advertisement.

  Currently the data is deleted after 2 years. After that can be restored from a backup for 1 additional year. This period is chosen to be able to see fluctuations and trends over a longer period.
